West of the Nile, in the deserts of Sahara, a mighty beast claimed a great tracks of land as his own. Red skinned bull who breathed fire from his nose has laid waste to many caravans that tried to pass the desert, disrupting the trade and killing lot of unfortunate souls. Blessed Battle Virgin Mary walked for days under the scorching sun, following the trail of the burned bodies and scorched earth that were left in it’s wake. Climbing on top of a dune, she saw the bull in the distance, resting. Mary was not sure how would she beat the beast.

Then the wind started to blow, gently at first, gaining the speed as time went on, rising the desert sand into the air. Mary saw her chance as the bull buried his head to protect itself from the sandstorm. Howling wind has hidden her steps as she approached the beast, only a feet away from it. In split second Mary jumped on the bull’s back and grabbed him by the horns, sending the beast into a frenzy.

It jumped and kicked and breathe fire from it’s nostrils, trying to kick Mary off his back, but to no avail. Ground quaked beneath them as the battle intensified. Mary has tried to choke the beast, but if she let go of the bull’s horns even for a second she risked to be knocked off or burned by fire. Unknowingly to her, she was already beating the beast bit by bit now. Her mighty legs were crushing the bull’s ribs as she squeezed them harder and harder trying to hold on as the beast rampaged. As bone gave in and internal injuries mounted, bull started losing his strength and at one moment simply collapsed, life leaving him soon after. Mary claimed the bull’s horns as her prize and cheered triumphantly to the sky.
